MOTO MORINI SPONSOR OF PRINCE BOXING NIGHT

Milan, November 28th, 2014

Moto Morini is proud to announce its partnership with The Prince Boxing Events for the show on December 5th at the opening of the theater Prince of Milan, where the highlight match of the evening will be the Italian title welterweight.

Moto Morini is a company with 77 years of history and this year opened a new plant in Lombardia (in the province of Pavia) and opened also a beautiful showroom MM Store in Milan at Via Giuseppe Sacchi, 5 in the prestigious Brera block.
The theater Prince is one of the symbols of Milan from 1949 to 1961 having hosted major boxing events, having been chosen as a location by the great director Luchino Visconti to shoot some scenes of the movie 'Rocco and his brothers' (a masterpiece of Italian cinema entered into the history).

These elements unite Moto Morini and the Prince Theatre for logistics and prestigious history. In addition, the highlight of the event on December 5th is the challenge between the Italian champion welterweight Antonio Moscatiello and Riccardo Pintaudi and Moto Morini wants to support anything that represents Italy, because it is convinced of the quality of Made in Italy. In fact, the components of the bike are produced in Italy, with industries and craftsmen in our area, as well as accessories.

For this we are happy as brand to support the Prince Boxing Night and we will host the ceremony of weight in our showroom "MM Store" in Milan Thursday, December 4th at 16.00 where we will give the public a chance to admire our bikes and also our engine seperately "naked".

A combination - our engine and boxers - that is very particular because we think that to become professional boxers you must own strength, passion, endurance same as to be a good engine.
Moto Morini is an industry with the passion of a craftsman. We manufacture our products entirely by hand, in tune with the needs of our customers eventually creating custom motorcycles based on the requests of the individuals. The strength, determination and endurance of our twin engine is unsurpassed and these are the very characteristics that must have a professional boxer if he wants to become a champion. Furthermore, boxing is a sport that fascinates men and women like our bikes.

The President and Vice-President of Moto Morini, Sandro Capotosti and Ruggeromassimo Jannuzzelli, are happy to participate in the rebirth of a historic place in Milan as the Teatro Principe space where you go back to celebrate the noble art of boxing. With the same feeling they are proud to have opened in the city of Milan the Moto Morini Concept Store that is a symbol how the tradition can evolve in the present and in the future.

"We are proud to have at our side a business enterprise of the highest level as Moto Morini -says Alessandro Cherchi- a company that gives luster to the Made in Italy with its high quality products and that has helped to give more visibility to the internationality of the Milan city with their recently opened showroom in the center. It will become a destination for many tourists as well as for the Milanese fans of motorcycles. Even the Prince Boxing Events wants to become a symbol of Milan, making to revive an historic place like the theater Prince that will be a meeting point for the visitors of cultural events and shows of quality."

The event of December 5th  -where tickets were sold out in just four days- offers the public five professional fights. In the climax, the Italian champion welterweight Antonio Moscatiello (17 wins, 12 before the limit, 2 losses and 1 draw) will defend his crown against unbeaten Riccardo Pintaudi (9-0) on the distance of ten rounds. In addition, the welterweight Renato De Donato will go up in the ring, the average weight Catalin Paraschiveanu (6 rounds for both), light weight Alessio Taverniti and novice light heavyweight Matthew Rondena (the latter two will fight on the 4 rounds).

The theater Prince is located in Viale Bligny 52 in Milan. The nearest underground station is Porta Romana (line 3). The theater is also accessible by tram 9 and 24.

The match Moscatiello-Pintaudi will be broadcasted live by Rai Sport 1 at 22.45
